Have you ever wondered which Albuquerque neighborhoods are the most expensive? In general, homes in Albuquerque are affordable. Our average sales price in July 2012 was only $193,000. There are some beautiful luxury homes here too, from homes in the foothills areas near the Sandia Mountains to homes in the lush north valley along the Rio Grande Bosque.

Here are the three neighborhoods in Albuquerque that had the highest average sales price in July 2012:

  • MLS Area 31, or the Foothills North area. This area is located in far northeast Albuquerque, on the east side of Tramway Blvd and Includes the High Desert area.  The average sales price was $534,000.
  • MLS Area 20, North Albuquerque Acres. Located north of Paseo del Norte in the northernmost part of the northeast heights, north Albuquerque Acres has some of Albuquerque most beautiful homes and large lots. The average sales price was $524,000.
  • MLS Area 10, Sandia Heights. Sandia Heights is on the east side of Tramway Blvd north of Paseo del Norte. The homes are on Sandia Mountain view lots.
