Northern Meadows is a popular newer neighborhood in Rio Rancho. Located near the Santa Ana Star Center and the new Rio Rancho municipal buildings, Northern Meadows features homes built mostly after the year 2000. Popular home builders like DR Horton, RayLee, Vantage, Fuller and Tiffany have built homes in the area.

Northern Meadows Real Estate Stats

Home sales have been improving in Northern Meadows. Over the last yeat the average home sold for $153,874 or $86 per square foot. Sales ranged in price from $89,124 to $220,005; the homes took 68 days to sell. Short sales and REO sales are on the decline, however they still makeup a sizeable portion of the home sales in Northern Meadows. In 2012 52%, and in 2013 that number increased to 56% of the home sales. In 2014 that number decreased to 46%. While that is still very high, it is a step in the right direction. Home Builders in the Area

AMREP built some of the older homes which are further west on King and south of King Blvd. DR Horton has built many homes in the area on the north side of King Blvd, and there are some RayLee, KB Homes, Fuller Homes and Vantage Homes too. There are some Tiffany Homes in the first area that you come to on King Blvd at the stop sign at Cochiti. If you go to the left (south) and wind around you'll find them. Another way to get to them is to go in by the park.
