Home shoppers moving in from other states often ask me "why aren't there more pool homes for sale in Rio Rancho?" I think there are two reasons. First of all, the temperatures here are not that hot. If the answer is yes then an appraiser can probably find the comparable sales they need to value the house at a higher price. If there are no recent comps, or if the comps show the other buyers have not paid more for homes with pools then the answer may be no.
