Foothills Homes
Several different MLS Areas make up the Foothills area. The foothills area is located east of Tramway blvd and stretches from Sandia Heights down to Four Hills. The Foothills area includes the popular neighborhoods High Desert and Glenwood Hills.

Northeast Heights Homes
The Northeast Heights is by far the most popular area of Albuquerque. The NE Heights provides residents with a wide variety of homes including affordable homes that are located near good schools, shopping and dining.
Homes in the heights are in the greatest demand and home inventory has already begun to dwindle as the real estate market struggles to recover.

Northwest Albuquerque Houses
Northwest Albuquerque is the perfect place for people who want more house for their money. Homes are considerably newer in this part of town with most areas having been built from the mid nineties into the 2000's.
One of the drawbacks of living in the area is there is not nearly as much shopping or dining, but that's beginning to change.

Albuquerque's North Valley runs along the Western edge of the Rio Grande. Offering convenient travel to most of Albuquerque, this rural center of the city features ranches, estates and farms.
The North Valley encompasses several smaller communities including the Village of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, a community of high-end homes.

UNM Area/Downtown Homes
Homes in the UNM and Downtown areas are perfect for home buyers looking to live in a more urban atmosphere. There are cultural events at the University of New Mexico, fine dining in the Nob Hill area and fun nightlife too in the heart of the city.

Southwest Albuquerque
The Southwest Heights is the most affordable part of town. Most of the homes in the area are newer and were built in 2000 or after. There are a few older neighborhoods there too and even some horse property.
If you don't have lots of money to spend but want a lot of house for the money, this might be the area for you.
